A World That Was Never Ours
A World That Was Never Ours
A reflective essay on humanity’s relationship with Earth, exploring ownership, nature’s fragile balance, and why protecting all life is essential for our survival.
I have never been someone who closely follows specific topics, yet after a recent reading, I felt inspired to turn my thoughts and imagination into words. What is happening around the world today is impossible to ignore. As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, and those images stay with us.
To me, this precious world was never meant to be owned. No one should claim land as if it were theirs to take. The Earth belongs not only to the people of each nation, but to every living being that calls it home. All life is connected through a delicate balance, with each organism playing a vital role in sustaining harmony.
If we continue on our current path, I fear we may have already crossed a breaking point. Some damage cannot be undone. Like many civilizations before us, humanity too may one day fade away. And when that time comes, nature will quietly reclaim what was always hers.
Still, I believe there is hope. If we can pause, even for a moment, and truly reflect on what matters most, we may find a way forward. Protecting life itself should be our greatest priority. The beautiful and essential creatures that share this planet with us deserve a chance. This crisis is not their fault.
We must remember: without them, without pollinators like bees, without the balance of nature—we cannot survive either.
If this reflection resonated with you, consider sharing it to help spread awareness about protecting life and preserving Earth’s fragile balance.
